Private trek with Gaye, (1 day) 3hr trek to tribe village and waterfall + white water rafting on August 22, 2005

We had a great day! Gaye was really friendly and knowledgeable and spoke extremely good English, which made the experience even better! The trek was just the right length and mixture of challenging and fun, without being tiring - we were climbing across tree trunks and boulders to cross the river, and enjoying stunning views of the mountains and jungle as we trekked. Having a private tour made it more personal and peaceful, and particularly made the visit to the hill tribe feel more natural and less invasive. The rubber rafting was great fun too! Gaye was an excellent guide and made our time in the North a fantastic experience - thank you!

My wife and I went on a two day trek. The overall experience was very enjoyable and we’ll strongly recommend it to friends. Gay was our guide. We also wanted to take the time to let you know what an incredible great job she did. Since it was the first Thai trek for both of us, we, of course, have nothing to compare it too. But we can’t imagine any other guide doing a better job. We aren’t sure what the usual tip is for this. So we only hope we gave her a sufficient tip. I just had to send you a short e-mail to say thank you so much for taking good care of my friends and me. We had a great time on a Chiang Mai city tour. Miss Kie was very good, she had all the answers to our many questions. Thou we have moved on I hope to return to Chiang Mai next month, when I do I will come to see you for another tour, maybe a 3 days trek up in the mountains.
